The live-action Twisted Metal TV series got its first poster today, courtesy of you IGN, Ahead of a teaser trailer scheduled for release later today. The upcoming adaptation of the classic PlayStation Cars fighting series is set to be released this July.
twisted metal Developed by Peacock and starring Anthony Mackie as the protagonist John Doe, a “smart” delivery driver who transports supplies between settlements in post-apocalyptic America. He has no memory of his past but is given a chance at a better life by one special delivery across the dangerous landscape.
Tonally, the series is considered an action comedy. Additional characters include Sweet Tooth, who will be voiced by Will Arnett and physically performed by professional wrestler Samoa Joe. The cast also includes Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Richard Cabral, Taj Vaughans and Neve Campbell.
