Sword of Rewind’, Plus Today’s Other Releases and Sales – TouchArcade

Hello dear readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for January 27, 2022. In today’s article, we have a whole bunch of new editions to check out. This is dangerous for a wallet today, as there are some interesting games to consider. We have summaries of all the new titles, plus the usual lists of inbound and outbound sales that are worth looking at. Let’s get started!

New releases

Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 ($ 24.99)

The highlight of SwitchArcade!

Copen returns for another two-dimensional white-knuckle action in this sequel to the original Luminous Avenger iX. Go and cut complicated levels, beat bosses, earn new weapons, and ascend the tower with your impressive agility. By now I feel like most of us know what we’re going to get with a new Inti-Creates game, and this game does not contradict the trend. It scratches it Mega Man X / ZeroI scratch very well, so if that’s what you crave, you know what to do.

COGEN: Sword of Rewind ($ 24.99)

The highlight of SwitchArcade!

But wait, there’s more! Here’s another cool 2D action platform, with the main gimmick here being that the main character’s sword can run time back in a few seconds. You will need it because in this game a single blow spells instant death. Gemdrops developers do not have a known amount like Inti-Creates, but it is clear that lately there is some trust in them since this game includes DLC that allows you to play as a Copen from Gunvolt Chronicles, With his little story and everything. Fans of action games with side scrolling are eating well today.

Vagante ($ 14.99)

The highlight of SwitchArcade!

Oh, now it has a rich flavor. And Ganta It’s a side roll action, and it hits a lot of the right sounds for the genre. Choose from a variety of character lessons and go out to the caves alone or with friends. You’ll probably not come out alive. Tons of loot, tons of secrets, and just the right amount of frustration. If you enjoy games like Spunky or Dead cellsYou will want to give And Ganta your attention.

Concordia: Digital Edition ($ 24.99)

Acram Digital has prepared a Switch version of the popular board game about economic development in ancient Rome. Build your trading empire and compete against the computer, or face other human players through local or multiplayer online sessions. It’s a solid board game and this digital version seems to be checking all the necessary boxes.

Hatsune Miku Connecting Puzzle Tamagotori ($ 14.00)

Miko returns with another puzzle game for Switch owners. The idea here is that you need to connect eggs with the same patterns using a line that bends no more than twice. You will need to think carefully before each move if you want to clear all the eggs and move on to the next step. Finishing puzzles will unlock the pictures and give you food to call the birds to your bird square. Of course, there are some Hatsune Miku tunes here. Five in total, were written specifically for this game. Miko fans, do what you have to do.

Fate Serene ($ 19.99)

Lots of interesting games today, that’s for sure. It looks like it’s gonna be an agricultural sim with some action-adventure sequences, similar to Valley of the Stars, But the agricultural end of things is more of a side issue. A real One, but still a side riot. The creature perception component is a big part of the game, with tons of chimera to recruit and train. It’s been out for a while on other platforms and the general consensus seems to be that it’s a fun game with some rough edges. It does not explain itself as it probably should, and the difficulty curve is not the most slippery. But if you’re the patient type who’s willing to give the game time to unwind, you might find some treasure here.

Magical Trials ($ 9.99)

In search of entering a prestigious school of magic, Sean (regardless) uses the ceremony to give himself a more magical ability. It works, but it also makes him a woman. These things happen. So not only does Sasson / Sophie have to adapt to a new school, he also has to get used to a new sex. Crazy premise! romanticism! danger! Multiple endings based on your choices! Yes, it’s definitely a visual novel, no? Magical theorems Not taking himself too seriously, but maybe that’s what you’re looking for today.

Crazy Athletics – Summer Sports & Games ($ 15.89)

A highly illustrated sports game for up to four players using local multiplayer. There are ten different types of sports across ten maps and eighty huge events. Instead of going the usual way of smashing the buttons, this game sees you tapping the buttons at a rate of more than a hundred different songs. It’s a rhythm game just as much as it’s a sports game, in other words. Cool idea.

Arcade Archives Pistol Daimyo no Bouken ($ 7.99)

Ha ha ha ha, oh Wow. Hamster keeps finding new obscurities, and I love that. Diemio Gun No Bocken Is a 1990 edition of Namco, and as you can probably guess from the title, it was not released outside of Japan at the time. It shoots with a side scroll featuring a historic Japanese lord with a gun strapped to his head. Because … why not? Why No, I’m asking you? It’s ruthlessly tough, utterly insane, and although it’s not fun to play with, I’m excited to see it re-released. This is the kind of games that have almost never been thought of going out there alone again.

Unexpected Incidents ($ 19.99)

Ah, I did No See it coming. This is an adventure game about a guy who got caught up in a conspiracy to release a terrible virus. The only way to prevent a disaster is if he continues to dig until he finds the truth and exposes the masters involved in the plan. This game came out a few years ago on other platforms and seems to be generally popular. If you’re in the mood for a color-and-click adventure game, look for this game.

Gomoku Let’s Go ($ 4.99)

Gomoku It’s a board game played with a Go board and tools, but it’s much simpler to play. The goal is to create five in a row with the color of your stones, so it’s like a more complex version of TIC Tac Toe. This looks like a reasonably priced version of the game, allowing you to play with another player using a local multiplayer or deal with an AI opponent with different skills. Note that if you own Club Games, You already have a nice version of Gomoku.

Zodiac Tri Peaks Solitaire ($ 4.99)

Yes, it’s a Trifix A fine solitaire game. It has a zodiac theme, and you can open new themes and card backgrounds on the go. I can not say much more about this game.

Crush Crush (free)

This is an idle dating simulation game, and as you can guess its price switch, there are a lot of IAPs involved if you want to see it all. Build your stats, find a nice job, send some gifts, take the women on dates, and see if you can really impress one of them. Well, it’s free to try.

Hidden Spoons ($ 3.99)

You have to search in different winter scenes to find all the hidden cats. There are a little over a dozen scenes, with 120 cats in total for detection. You will need to look carefully, interact with objects as needed. Looks cool.

Sales

(North American e-shop, US prices)

Not a bad dish to start the weekend sales with. Necrobarista Immediately pops out, and if you were curious about Larry Leisure Suit Playing the saga Discounted to the level of under ten dollars. I’m sure we’ll have a lot more to talk about tomorrow, so don ‘t blow your whole budget yet. There is not too much worry in the expired sales list, but give it a quick peek anyway just to be sure.
