The Blockchain Socios.com rewards app has partnered with digital development agency Wave to bring mobile games to the rewards platform.
Socios first launched its app in 2019 through a partnership with blockchain provider Chillz and has since partnered with over 120 companies and sports organizations, such as UEFA, La Liga and Serie A.
Through the partnership, Wave will bring 13 “bite-sized” sports games to platform users. The companies have confirmed that the first games are expected to hit the platform in mid-April and will include football, basketball, martial arts and other sports.
Socios expects the partnership with Wave to provide greater value to the platform’s digital asset owners, Fan Tokens, who are used to participate in surveys, contests, experiences and win prizes.
A gaming experience
“Creating a deeper, more focused team by team experience for fans on our platform is an integral part of our vision to create an ecosystem of engagement and rewards for fan token holders that truly reaches critical mass in terms of daily value and reasons to participate,” he said. Chief Strategy Officer of Socius and Chilts, Max Rabinovich.
“Wave’s expertise, related to their focus on sports and fan involvement in particular, makes them the perfect game partner for us.”
Wave chief Erik van Mourik added: “Like us, Socios.com is committed to improving global fan engagement in sports by leveraging the latest technology. There is already a great deal of cross-referencing in terms of our target audiences and vision, so this partnership fits very well with really great potential. “
Last month, DeFi Kingdoms partnered with Ramp to bring easier payment options in cryptocurrencies to its browser and mobile users.
