However, I did not stay with it after the launch, and many others fell with it: its Steam numbers dropped from the concurrent player count of a record of More than 125,000 (Opens in a new tab) April 2021 except for a shy of 2,600 over the last 30 days.

And because Square Enix desperately wants new players to give it a try (and players who will not return), it has made the Outriders completely free to play for the next three days steam (Opens in a new tab): Until 10:00 PT / 13: 00 ET on June 23, you can just go to the store page, click the “Play Game” button, well, play the game.
Any progress you make will pass if you go into the game on Steam after the free play period ends, and if you have previously progressed with the Outriders demo (of which the protocol is still available), you can continue from anywhere you stopped during this freebie. Speaking of which, if the free half week convinces you to make the leap, Outriders is now also being offered on sale on Steam for $ 22 / £ 18 / € 22 – the lowest it has ever been, by IsThereAnyDeal (Opens in a new tab)Also until June 23.
