Someone found one of The Witcher 3’s last Easter eggs almost seven years after it was released in May 2015.
Uses YouTube xLetalis She discovered that Vivienne, a character that players can release from a curse at the risk of dying in seven years, could actually be found dead after such a long wait in the game.
Vivian is at the center of Blood and Wine’s The Warble of a Smitten Knight quest, where Gerlatt finds her half turn into a bird. He suggests removing the curse, though warns Vivian that she may only live as long as the beast results from it.
Okay, here’s the video – Vivian was found dead after 7 years in a game in Infer’s room at Skellig: https://t.co/QpXLVX9w47 @CDPROJEKTRED @PaweSasko @PhiWeber @witchergame pic.twitter.com/Z9qPwveSJZ

She accepts, leaves, and can be found later in Skellig. By meditating for seven years (more than 2,500 days), or by using console commands to speed up time in another way, the player can find Vivian dead in Infer’s room at the Kaer Trolde port.
Philip Weber, the acting chief designer of CD Projekt Red, noted the irony of someone discovering the Easter egg for seven years almost seven years after The Witcher 3 was released.
He told IGN: “I’m not sure if this is the last secret, but it sure is pretty close. Everyone has hidden so many details over the last few months of development that people will probably still find something new one day.
“It’s definitely the Easter egg I hid the most of all the ones I made, so it’s pretty impressive that it’s finally been found.”
While this is one of the final Easter eggs for now, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series version of the game is on its way, giving CD Projekt Red plenty of opportunities to scatter new secrets.
In our 9/10 review, IGN said “Massively sized and meticulously detailed, The Witcher 3 ends Geralt’s story in a high tone,” and we also ranked it high on the list of the top ten Open World Games of all time.
