Fortnite Chapter 3 has officially come to an end.
Episode 3 started last December and now, we officially know that Episode 4 starts tomorrow, December 4th. As with previous chapter launches, Chapter 4 brings with it a brand new map to play on that will be filled with new locations and returning favorites. There’s a glimpse of this new map at the end of the trailer for Episode 4 “A New Beginning,” which you can watch below:

Elsewhere in the trailer, you can glimpse new skins that will likely be in the Season 1 battle pass like Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher series, The Incredible Hulk, The Doom Slayer from Doom, and even YouTuber Mr. Beast.
However, before all of that, players got the chance to experience the ending event of Chapter 3 “The Fracture” today at 4:00 PM (if you missed it, unfortunately you can’t go back to play it right now). In it we saw Battle Island basically explode with bits and pieces of it scattered across the stars.
Players were tasked with collecting Zero Point Fragments scattered across a small section of this map floating in space. The more players collected, the more pieces were added to the playable area. Players could complete tasks such as throwing snowballs at enemies or bouncing players into space like beach balls. You can also complete races, customize island accessories and more. Everything you did earned you a zero point fraction. After about 30 to 40 minutes of this, the episode 4 trailer started. In it we saw what looked like the creation of the map of episode 4, with the zero point dragging pieces of space to create it.
