‘Bayonetta 3’ update includes balance adjustments and more

the last game in Bayonetta The series received an update today that brings the game to version 1.2.0. It seems to focus mainly on changing the balance of the game in various ways. Some of Viola’s moves have been polished, some props have been improved, some of Nippelheim’s stages have been made a little easier, and unsealing the old picture book is much simpler. The latter is significant as it is the means of triggering the teaser for the upcoming The Origins of Bayonetta: Ceresa and the Lost Demon. The update is live now, so just go ahead and click on the update option if it hasn’t already done so on its own.

New releases

Silenttown Kids ($19.99)

This is a new point-and-click style adventure game from the back button Little Briar Rose, a game that certainly had no shortage of praise thrown in its direction. It follows a girl named Lucy who fears the forest surrounding her village. The villagers disappear from time to time, and Lucy finally decides that she will be the one to investigate the problem. Sooner or later, she will have to face her fears. It looks pretty good, but I haven’t had a chance to play it yet.

Sales

(North American e-store, US prices)

Continuing the recent trend, there isn’t much to look at in today’s new sales list. The good news is that it’s short enough that you don’t really need me to walk you through it. The inbox is larger, but most of what’s in it will return soon. So check it out, but don’t feel overly pressured to buy anything right now.
